Who is an immigrant?

A person who is having a citizenship rights in one country and goes to another country for setting up his residence is known as an immigrant. Not every person can be termed as an immigrant. A person is eligible to be an immigrant if and only if he/she is a citizen of one country and that he/she has visited another country due to some specific reason only.

Current Scenario in United Kingdom:
From the very beginning of the civilization, the Britishers have always been negative and depressive with the increase of the immigrants in the United Kingdom. They find it to be the biggest and crucial problem that is being faced by the people in their society. The country is facing problem with respect to an increase in population, economy, cultural differences and other opportunities that the Britishers find them to be losing up with them. It is creating a difference in the society. These days the occurrence of conflicts is increasing in the United Kingdom. People find that the reason behind these conflicts is the stress, tensions and differences between the immigrants and the Britishers. Britishers find it difficult to see that the work opportunities are being snatched away by the immigrants. The feeling of competition is increasing due to the immigrants. The growth in population is also being seen. The country is facing population issues due to the increasing immigrants. However, a few sets of people also see immigration as positive impact for the cultural knowhow in the United Kingdom. They believe in exchanging cultures and hence appreciate the presence of immigrants.
